Getting Started
From the server list to your own claimed town on a 1:1000 Earth. Read this once and you will know more than most players on day one.
Connect
Java Edition
Multiplayer → Add Server → paste the address. Use 1.21.x for the best experience. Older clients can usually connect through ViaVersion, but newer blocks and items may look wrong.
Bedrock Edition
Phone, console or Windows: Servers → Add Server, then enter the address and the port below. Bedrock players appear in game with a . in front of their name.
First join
Accept the resource pack
You will be asked to download the StampedeMC pack (about 0.5 MB). It is required because it holds the WWII gun models and the vehicle models, and declining it disconnects you. If the download never starts, select the server in your list, click Edit, and set Server Resource Packs to Enabled.
Register a password
The server runs in offline mode, so a password is the only thing protecting your name. You spawn blinded and frozen until you log in. Type the password once:
- 6 to 32 characters. Don't reuse a password from anywhere else.
- You have 2 minutes and 5 tries to log in before you are kicked.
- If you rejoin within 60 seconds from the same connection, you stay logged in.
Grab the starter kit
Every new player starts with $5,000 and can claim the starter kit once: stone tools, 16 bread, 16 torches and a boat.
Link your website account (optional)
You only need this for the store. Create an account on this site, open Account, start a link, then type the 8-character code in game.
Leave spawn
You arrive in the Spawn world every time you log in. Spawn is a safe zone with no PvP, no damage and no hunger, and nothing there can be built or broken. The game itself is played on Earth, a 1:1000 map of the real world. Get there with a random teleport:
Your first day
Set a home
Found somewhere good? Mark it. Everyone gets one home, and ranks add more.
Found a town or join one
A town costs $250 and protects your builds from everyone outside it. Stand where you want the centre, run the command, then claim more chunks as you grow. Or ask an existing town for an invite.
Make money
Sell what you mine and farm to the server shop, kill mobs for cash drops, and vote for the server every day for $5,000 per site.
Arm up
WWII guns and explosives are sold in the Armory. Cars, boats, helicopters, planes and tanks are in the vehicle shop.
Know the basics
PvP is on
- PvP is on everywhere outside Spawn, including inside towns.
- When another player kills you, 20% of your balance drops as cash for them to pick up.
- There is no keep-inventory anywhere on Earth, siege zones included. Death drops everything.
- Logging out within 60 seconds of a fight kills you. See the combat rules.
Stay alive
- Thirst drains about 1% a minute. Drink water bottles; drinking straight from a river can poison you.
- New players get 30 seconds of PvP protection after joining. Attacking someone ends it.
- Items dropped when you die are reserved for your killer for 30 seconds.
- Slimefun is fully unlocked. Open the guide with /sf guide.
Commands you will use daily
/tpaccept; cancel yours with /tpacancel./r. Block someone with /ignore <player>./bal and the richest players with /baltop.
