Slimefun & Missiles
Hundreds of machines, a full industrial tech tree, and guided missiles that can hit a capital 7,000 blocks away.
Slimefun basics
The Slimefun Guide
You get the guide on your first join. It lists every Slimefun item, its recipe and the machine that makes it, along with vanilla recipes. Research is switched off: every item is unlocked from day one, so you never spend XP to learn a recipe.
Lost the book? /sf guide gives a new one. Click an item to see its recipe; click an ingredient to jump to how that's made.
Progression
Multiblocks
Start here. The Enhanced Crafting Table, Grind Stone, Ore Crusher, Smeltery and Compressor are built from vanilla blocks and need no power. They turn ore into dusts and alloys.
Power
Solar panels and coal generators, then lava, combustion and nuclear reactors. Connect machines with energy regulators and capacitors.
Automation
Electric furnaces, auto-crafters, food fabricators, crop and tree growth accelerators, and androids that mine, farm and fight for you.
Cargo
Cargo nodes move items between chests and machines. A single network can span up to 200 blocks.
Mobility
Jetpacks and jet boots from Duralumin up to Armored, GPS teleporters, elevators and backpacks.
Armour
Damascus Steel, Gilded Iron and Reinforced Alloy sets. A full Reinforced Alloy set gets a server bonus; see the Armory page.
Hazards
- Radiation is on. Carrying uranium, plutonium, boosted uranium and other radioactive items hurts and burns you after a 15-second grace period. Wear a full Hazmat Suit when handling them.
- Slimefun machines are blocks like any other. Outside your town they can be broken, and in a siege zone they can be blown up.
- Androids and machines only run in chunks that are loaded.
Missile Warfare
Missile Warfare adds a Missile Warfare category to the Slimefun guide: launchers, missile bodies, warheads, fuel, radar and air defence. The guide also includes the in-game book Missiles for Dummies.
Build the launcher
Craft a GtG (ground-to-ground) Missile Launcher and place it on one green concrete block.
Set the target
Right-click the launcher with a stick and type the target's x and z coordinates. Right-click with a blaze rod to set the cruise altitude, so the missile clears mountains. Shift-right-click with a stick to check it can fire.
Load and launch
Put a missile in the launcher and give it a redstone signal. The missile flies to the target at cruise altitude and dives.

| Missile LR | 1,500 | 4.5 | 2.5 | 80 |
| Missile AC | 1,250 | 4.5 | 2.5 | 16 |
| Armour-piercing I | 1,550 | 3.5 | 2 | 40 |

| Advanced Missile AC | 2,000 | 4.5 | 4 | 20 |
| ICBM | 7,000 | 10 | 5 | 50 |
Range is in blocks. Power is explosion size (TNT is 4). Spread is how far the missile can land from its target: lower is more accurate. HE = high explosive, LR = long range, AC = accurate. Armour-piercing missiles can punch through obsidian.
Defences
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Anti-Missile Launcher | Built on obsidian. Fires Anti-Air Missiles at incoming missiles (range 600) with a 60% hit chance per shot. A redstone signal switches it off. |
| Anti-Elytra Launcher | Built on obsidian. Fires Anti-Elytra Missiles at players gliding nearby. Set a Player List ID with a stick so your own side is ignored. |
| Manpad | Hand-held. Hold Shift and right-click to lock on to a missile, release Shift to fire. Always hits. |
| Missile Radar | Gives a redstone signal when a missile comes within 700 blocks. Use a repeater to catch the pulse. |
| Player List | Holds the players a launcher should ignore. IDs are global: anyone who knows yours can edit it, so keep it secret. |
| Mine | A buried explosive (power 8) that goes off when stepped on. |
| Barbed Wire | A cobweb that hurts anyone pushing through it (1 ♥). Craft from iron ingot, string and cobweb; cut it with shears. |
Brewing
Brew beer, wine, mead, rum and stronger spirits with real recipes. Put the ingredients in a cauldron over a fire, let it cook for the right number of minutes, fill bottles, then age them in a wooden barrel built from planks and stairs, or distil them in a brewing stand. Quality depends on timing, ingredients and wood type. Strong drinks make you stumble.
